About
I am a freelance web designer with 15 years’ experience in IT. My initial love of IT took me in to education where I teach Computer Science to GCSE, A-Level and Degree Level students. I have a passion for all things web and, amongst other things, I have studied a number of web frameworks and technologies that have helped me understand how to get the most out of a website. As well as creating WordPress Sites that allow easy content management, I have a keen interest in developing bespoke sites using the latest tools and technologies. Shane responded to our request, at very short notice, for a volunteer web developer to help support Hospice Isle of Man’s launch of a major local fundraising campaign, Tap2Donate. We found Shane to be extremely personable and approachable, continually offering practical development advice, and helping us to finalise the design brief. He meticulously interpreted our thoughts and functionality requirements to help deliver the launch of our campaign.
The developed website looked and functioned just as we’d hoped and throughout the process he actioned any amendments and enhancements as we required. Shane continually offered practical and creative solutions and once launched, thoroughly handed over the ongoing maintenance and updating of the site to us, generously volunteering his ongoing support should we require.
